3rd degree tear

Hi all I am 10 weeks postpartum. During labour I suffered with baby being stuck in pelvis ( shoulder dysphasia)... I tore very very badly. I suffered a 3rd degree tear which is the worst tear a women can have. I was rushed to theatre after giving birth to be stitched up. Now I am having physio because my pelvic floor isn't functioning properly..
has anyone else suffered with this?

A 4th degree tear would be worse than yours

I had a third degree tear with my first, though didn’t have physio. I was/am fine.

@5zeds that's good. How long did it take for you to heal?

About 8 weeks probably massively helped by the fact I thought it was fairly commonplace until much laterGrin. I went on the have more children and never looked back.
