Itching clitoris

hi, for the last few months there’s been an itching around my clitoris, but only lately it’s gotten worse, i don’t know if it’s because around last month i itched it for the first time or if it’s a worsening condition. I have had a peek at the area and there doesn’t seem to be anything out of the ordinary around it, as i’m young (15) i don’t really feel comfortable talking to a doctor or gynaecologist about it, any ideas or tips, thanks

If you're sexually actively then you'll need to get checked for sexually transmitted diseases. If you're not sexually active then I'd start with treating thrush, which is common and easy to treat with creams you can buy from the pharmacy (clotrimazole). Speaking to pharmacist is good and they can do it in a private room. Can you speak to your mother about it?

Could just be from using scented soaps or change in washing powder! As long as you are washing every day then it's most likely one of the above!

It does sound as though it could be external thrush. You can buy cream from a supermarket but I'd strongly advise going to see your GP if symptoms don't improve. Hope you're feeling better soon OP!

Probably trush. It could also be that you need to clean a bit better, by pulling the clitoris hood back and washing gently (smegma can acumulate there and it can get itchy).
