I have recently had a coil fitted and I have a really tight, painful vagina. It's warm and it is dry and tight-feeling. There's no moisture there and I've been bleeding since it was inserted three weeks four days ago. Is the normal? No signs of infection that I can tell as that's what I thought it might be at first.
Is it normal to have an extremely dry, tight angry vagina after the coil? Should I be worried? It could be menopause but I'm not even 40 yet? Any ideas? Anyone had anything similar? It feels very weird down there and not like normal at all.
