Breast screening

Hi,
I'm in the Midlands. I'm only a week away from hitting the big 50 and I have still not received an invitation to have breast screening. My DM had breast cancer and I am concerned I haven't been contacted. Is screening on hold due to Covid?

It doesn't happen bang on fifty. It is between 50-53.

If you are really concerned, you could see your GP and they'd decide if you needed it sooner, or pay for a mammogram privately.

@JinglingHellsBells.. thanks for your reply and link. Something told me they were lowering the age to 48 or 49 but obvs not
