I have long cycles and horrific periods that cause me to pass out due to blood loss and excruciating pain. My pelvis transvaginal ultrasound results are back and I’m a bit confused:
Normal sized anteverted uterus.
Endometrium appears smooth and regular measuring 1mm in AP
thickness at the fundus.
Both ovaries visualised; appear ultrasonically normal.
No obvious adnexal mass.
I haven’t had a period in 53 days (longest it’s ever been) but I’ve had bloating, cramps, nausea and fatigue and keep thinking I’m about to come on. I googled my results and apparently 1mm is on the low side… usually during menstruation but I’m not on my period! Not sure what is meant by “thickness at the fundus.”
For reference, I am 25.
