Brown spotting and lower backache mid cycle

Just wondering if anyone has experienced similar?

I'm on day 13 of my cycle and according to my Flo app am due to ovulate tomorrow (I am on the mini pill bit have monthly bleeding still). When I went to the loo I noticed some brown discharge in my knickers and also when I wiped. It's definitely mid brown with no real red patches in, but I've since developed lower back ache too. The spotting now has stopped but lower back ache still there. I do have endo but have never experienced this before.

I suffer with health anxiety so my mind is wondering to all different places about cervical cancer, I had my last smear around 14 months ago.

Can anyone share similar stories?

It could well be endometriosis that is causing your current symptoms (I used to get both brown blood and back ache because of it).

Health anxiety is quite a common problem and I would urge you to address this with your GP before it really starts to take a further hold on you. I would also tell them that you are still bleeding whilst on the mini pill.

I see the point. Yes, I have the same thing. At the end of the cycle, I have such spots, but I went to the doctor and did an examination. I was told that I was fine. This is normal, but it's better to go to the doctor anyway. By the way, I was told in secret that Hometown Hero relieves pain during menstruation. Have you tried CBD? I want to try because sometimes my stomach hurts so it's just impossible to do anything around the house and even go to work. Oh, it's a pity that men will never understand what it is.
