Can stress stop/delay a period?

Hello,
My periods are usually pretty regular - between 26 - 30 days. I was due then it seemed to start two days ago - only a small amount - spotting really, then I had a very stressful day the next day (household domestic issue which almost could have hindered my flat sale) - super stress but I think it's fixed now. But could this acute stress have caused my period to have stopped?
Never had it before, thanks in advance.

Could do. Have you had a covid jab lately?
