Good evening,

Just a little but about why I'm worried. I suffer with PCOS so I have odd periods anyway. I normally have 1 period every 4-6 months if I'm lucky. My last period was just before Christmas which was my first one in about 5/6 months. Roll on 5 weeks later and I've had another one which is very abnormal for me. Also what makes it more unusual is I have had this bigger clot than I normally do (see attached pic) and when I wipe it's very mucus like. This isn't like my normal period at all. My boobs are also very painful and tender especially rhe nipples. My back is in agony. I can't get warm.

We dtd on the 1st Jan so this is what makes me this it could be a possibility. I don't want to waste the doctors time if it's just my body being weird and wanting me to have normal/more frquent periods. But, it all just feels, odd.

Thank you for reading and thank you for replying. Hope you're all safe and well ❤

Just to add, the bleeding started yesterday. My normal period, first day is light and 2nd day I'm heavy but I went instantly heavy. Then this clot was from this morning. Just been having shivers and migraines on and off all day (I suffer with migraines anyway so that's nothing new)

I couldn't leave without replying, dear. Call your doctor as soon as possible, it may be normal (I've had mucus like that in periods) but you never know, better to be safe. hugs to you

Just to update. I've ended up with what they think is an infection (possibly a water infection) as I'm struggling to pass water and shivering. Also having swabs done. Nurse was a tad unsure what's going on so testing for a few things so we shall see
