Just returned from possibly the most excruciating (in terms of embarrassment, not pain!) gynae appointment ever. And for someone’s who had IVF plus all the associated investigations that is saying something!
I left with no coil because:
- my cervix expelled the first one
- the nurse wasn’t happy to put the second one in because the speculum kept slipping and she couldn’t see properly
She told me not to worry about but I am now very concerned that after pushing out 2 kids in my early 40s my pelvic floor is now gone forever. Can anyone either reassure me or give me the truth? I can take it!
