Private biopsy cost?

I've been waiting 13 weeks for an NHS referral for an ovarian cyst. My recent blood test showed a higher level of ca 125. I've got an appt with a private hospital in 2 weeks, but wondered if anyone has been private and costs?

Have you been advised they are doing a biopsy?

If you have made an appt privately, haven't you asked for the cost? All you have to do is call them, and ask.

What is your appt for? A consultation or a medical procedure?

The costs of the consultation alone will be between £250-£50 depending on the dr.

The scan for a cyst will be about £200.

Any other treatment will vary depending on what is done. If it's removed with surgery it could be anywhere from £3k- £5K approx.
