Fibroadenoma has gotten much bigger

Hi all,

This time last year I found a lump and was seen at the breast clinic. They took a biopsy and confirmed it was a fibroadenoma (about the size of a bean) but said to monitor it.

This morning I've examined myself to find the fibroadenoma lump has gotten much bigger, bigger than a marble.

I can't remember what was said to me about possible growth at the clinic - do I make another appointment to get it checked as it's grown quite a bit bigger or is this okay?

Perhaps you need to ask your gp in the first instance??

Whatever you need to do, see your GP or contact the clinic, just do it. No one here can say whether it's good or bad, but for peace of mind, get someone to look at you :) Call the clinic maybe and ask if you need another GP referral or can make the appt with them anyway.
