Is it thrush?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice on symptoms I'm having.

About two weeks ago I started feeling very bloated and having general abdominal cramps/pains. Then, around Sunday evening the pain seemed to focus and was directly between my pubic bone and belly button. I had originally thought that it might be digestive issues/something I'd eaten but when the pain became more localised I thought it might be something vaginal or uterus related.

I went to the gp on Tuesday and she examined me internally and took some swabs. She said these won't likely be back for 2 weeks. She said there was redness and irritation inside but my cervix looked fine. She said it was thrush and prescribed a pessary which I inserted that night.

It's now Friday and the symptoms haven't eased at all. Still very bloated and pain directly between belly button and pubic bone. I don't have any itching or soreness on the outside of my vagina. I do have a little bit of discharge but it is clear and jelly like. My vagina isn't sore but does feel a little swollen and I am very uncomfortable sitting up straight due to swollen feeling in my vagina and the bloating and abdo pain.

Everything I can find on google (I know, the worst place to seek advice Confused) seems to suggest that itching accompanies thrush and I haven't had that at all.

Has anyone had anything similar? I'm fine if I'm lying down but sitting upright for any length of time makes it really uncomfortable, so much so I had to finish work early today as I just couldn't put up with it any longer. Any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks for reading and sorry it's so long!
