Endometriosis Help Please

Can anyone help me...neither my GP nor my gynaecologist seem to be able to 😥

I had a laparoscopy in June and endo was removed. Since then my periods have been as severe as they were before - labour-like contractions, and severely heavy bleeding.

I am very unwell for a few days every month and I'm trying everything I can to cope.

Tranexamic Acid made no difference to the bleeding. Neurofen and Solpadeine don't help the cramps much at ALL. Allergic to Pondstan.

Considering having a third baby so gyno won't put me on pill.

What can I do?

I have recently been having acupuncture for the constant pain I have all month, it’s definitely helping me so perhaps worth a try?

It’s an odd one but Buscopan is a smooth muscle relaxant and can help some people - it really does for me. The uterus is smooth muscle but I have no idea if that is why Buscopan helps.

Also Naproxen Sodium helped me although it takes a while to take effect (about an hour). I take both at first sign of pain.

Also magnesium sulfate (Epsom salt) soaks in hot bath help me.

None will help the heavy bleeding but have greatly helped the pain for me.

Heat pads or hot water bottles help. I’ve had 15 ops for endo and still trying to work out what does and doesn’t help 🤦🏻‍♀️
