I am 36 years old and for years now I have light periods that only last a day. I've had a lot of different tests Including hormones and nothing comes back abnormal. The problem is I am also struggling to conceive a second child. Anyone else have the same problem?

What blood tests have you had done to date?.

Have you had a day 2 test that compares the level of LH against that of FSH?. For instance if the level of LH is consistently higher than FSH this can be indicative of hormonal imbalances. My periods were often short in duration and in my case it was due to PCOS.

My periods were half a day , literally nothing . I had 4 miscarriages then the 5th stuck with the help of progesterone. I had the liming of my womb measured and it was normal which really surprised me. In fact all my tests came back normal , I was 36 too.

Did you have to get put to sleep for that? When we spoke to an ivf consultant she said she recommended I get put to sleep and have investigations to check for scar tissue from a missed miscarriage I had before my first child. It took us a year to conceive him

P.s how did you find out you have pcos? I've had a lot of tests so guessing they would have picked that up. I had a dye test and X-rays of womb etc
