Lower back pain - caused by covid jab or period?

Hi all,

I had my booster jab on NYE (I’m 27) and was given Moderna (both 1st & 2nd were Pfizer). A few hours after I got the jab, my period started 2 days early and I’ve got the usual stomach cramps etc with it, however since Saturday, I’ve had lower back pain that seems to come and go.

I’ve had a bath this evening and then stood for 30mins cooking dinner and it didn’t hurt for either of those however I’ve tried to get off the sofa and it’s really stiff and it seems to have got a bit worse and now I’m a bit worried I’ve got a blood clot!

Realistically, I know it’s probably not a blood clot however just wondering if the lower back pain has happened to anybody else after the covid jab or if they’ve had their period same time as having the jab and can offer some advise?

Thank you in advance!

I had my moderna booster on Thursday and came on yesterday. I had awful backache, but that's fairly usual for me so not really any help to you at all. Sorry

Sorry but you're probably overthinking.

I’ve no doubt in mind that I’m probably overthinking, I do suffer badly with Health anxiety but this is just a bizarre lower back pain, just worried that the jab has given me some sort of weird side effect!

I had a horrendous bad back and heavy period (haven't had one for months) when I had Covid.

I caught it at a mass vaccination clinic and tested positive 3 days after my booster..........
