Painful mole inside labia

Iv had a mole on the inside of my labia for a couple of years (I don't remember it being there before DC1) when I had my last smear in Feb I asked the doctor to look at it and she said it was fine.

About 4/5 weeks ago it was irritating so I shaved and it seemed to settle but in the last 24-48 hours it's has gotten painful, I'm going to ring the GP in the morning but has anyone heard of this before?

Im hoping it's an ingrown hair or something but everything I google screams cancer at me!

I'm also 22 weeks pregnant if that changes anything!

Pregnancy increases blood flow in that area. It can contribute to haemorrhoids and some women also even get varicous veins on their labia.

So yes ask the doctor to look, especially if it is painful, but I don't think you need to worry.

@DiamondSnow ah yes you are right! My veins do look horrendous down there
