Aching in the morning

I'm post menopausal by a year or so. I've noticed over the last few months that in the morning I'm quite achy all, especially my feet and my back. The first few steps are a bit ouchy and then I'm OK.
I suppose it's just part of the ageing process, but wondered if this was common? I'm reasonably fit but definitely could do with losing 2 stones.

I read that menopause (lack of estrogen) can cause muscle and joint pain and stiffness. You can check Balance menopause website. Hormone replacement therapy can help if this is the reason. Check out some you tube videos as well.

Thank you @Cratos - I will look that up.

Absolutely, we lose about 10% of our bone density due to menopause. Are you taking HRT?
Highly recommend starting some proper strength training to support your bones if not.

No - I have come out the other side without
HRT.

10% - that is pretty scary!
