I have a sore throat the pain is constant it seemed better through the night but has come back more through the day today. There are a few white spots on each tonsil that I can see. Could this be viral or do I need to see a doctor because of white spots? Should I leave it a few more days?

Doctors don’t necessarily treat bacterial tonsillitis these days. Evidence suggests most cases of bacterial tonsillitis will resolve without, albeit it can take a little longer. This assumes no underlying conditions. Have you tested for Covid as sore throat can be a symptom.

@Keissax ah ok I didn’t know they done this! I thought your body couldn’t fight bacterial infections only viral. Yes done a PCR as my husband is immunosuppressed and do weekly laterals too

Gargle with dilute hydrogen peroxide solution, if it's bacterial it'll be fine in no time.
