What's happening to my periods?!

Hi ladies. Just looking for advice. What’s happened to my period?!
I had an iui early in October (unmediated fertility treatment) which I had a negative test for and a normal period afterwards, however I continued to spot for about 2 weeks afterwards. My period was due a few days ago and I had all the usual PMS symptoms but instead of bleeding I just spotted for a few days and now nothing at all.

What could be going on? I’ve had similar in the past when I’ve been unwell or very stressed but none of those apply this time. I’be just turned 46 so wondering if it’s just being peri menopausal?

Can anyone please advise?

Hi Op, I’ve noticed more women are reporting either missing / delayed periods or unusually long and heavy periods.
Im 45 and my period is late by 3 days, I was thinking peri menopause, but having read so many other posts on this , I’m not so sure it is.
Have you received both covid jabs?

My periods have either been all over the phone or totally missed some months. Only since having the vaccine

The Covid vaccine affected my periods for a few cycles.

I conceived using IUI. My first cycle I had a chemical pregnancy (basically an early positive pregnancy test but it doesn't stick more than a few days) and that knocked my next cycle slightly haywire and I ended up running the next cycle 9 days late.

Before you do anything else though I'd do another pregnancy test just to make sure.

Sorry - realise my post reads as though my IUIs were after the Covid vaccine which isn't the case at all. Two unrelated points!

I've had problems with my periods since my first jab culminating in a massive bleed which lasted for over a month.

I saw the gynaecologist last month who confirmed my suspicions that it could have been the jabs that has knocked everything wonky as before that I was as regular as clockwork.

I have had a recent booster dose but I can't remember exactly when. I didn't think about that actually!
I'll do a PT tomorrow. I don't think it'll be positive (although I'd be delighted if it was) but I need to rule it out.

I just looked at when I had my booster.

My last period started 28th October and I had my booster jag on the 1st November so on day 5 of my cycle. That could explain the weird bleeding pattern since.
I'll do a PT tonight but I expect it to be negative.
Perhaps it is a side effect of the vaccine??
