Periods have just stopped

Just wondering if anybody can help?

My periods gave literally just stopped, I've not had one in about 5 months (since june).
I have a LO who is coming up to 11 months (was a section birth) but had periods after the birth and don't breast feed. I do also have PCOS but it has never stopped my periods just made them extremely heavy.

I've been for tests at Dr and everything came back normal (hormones, menopause, diabieties, etc). I have been referred to hospital (not sure for what exactly...)
Did ask if it could be related to the covid injections, but they said it wouldn't have stopped them for this long.

I was just wondering if anybody has had similar?
Little bit worried why this is happening...

PCOS can also cause periods to stop too. In my experience of this it did not cause periods to become heavy.

What hormone levels were tested and on which cycle days?
I would push for a referral to a gynaecologist. Hormone test results done in the wrong cycle days can give meaningless results.

How old are you ?
My daughter had no periods with PCOS, was put on the pill to give her a monthly bleed.

you are not pregnant are you?

are you underweight or on a very restrictive diet? malnourishment can stop periods.

Thank you for your replies Smile
@AttilaTheMeerkat - I'm not sure which part of my cycle I would be, but hazarding a guess probably mid cycle going off when periods should be due etc.
Definitely will push for a referral.

@GoodnightGrandma - I'm 28, unfortunately I'm not able to take the pill as it sends me a bit funny Blush but I think as last resort I may have to see if I can kick start them.

@purplesequins - not pregnant as far as I'm aware, negative tests anyway and I think they did check for that in the blood tests. Not underweight, and not obese, I'm a size 12ish (14 in some things) so not huge.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions.
