Infected c section scar?

Hi 😊 I had a c section over 3 weeks ago, and about a week after it one side of my scar (where they put a drain in) was very painful and 'oozy', and smelt a bit too. I took a course of an antibiotics and while the pain is gone now, it looks like red and very disgusting - I'm going to contact my GP soon but I find it weird I've just taken a full course of antibiotics and got it still, maybe it's fungal?

That still doesn't look right.
Definitely go back to gp - you might need more antibiotics?

Is the skin touching on either side and rubbing? I have a c section apron after three, and it can get a bit red and raw where the skin touches. I wash and dry it really well after the shower and put an antifungal powder called caldesene on every time, to keep it dry and stop anything developing.

That doesn’t look right. Do you know why you had a drain? I only ask because I didn’t but mine was 10 years ago. I had an infection but one course of antibiotics was enough. I think you need a longer course and I’d call 111 in the morning rather than wait until Monday. Bathe it with cooled boiled salt water tonight. If you have a fever, call 111 sooner.
