Hello, firstly I have booked to speak to a gp but where I am you have to book online and wait days for a phone call and then hopefully someone will actually see you. So in the meantime I was wondering if anyone might have any advice/experience.

I had a small maybe pea sized lump right in the middle of the bikini kind of area, I thought probably an ingrown hair as i do shave, and it didn't hurt so I left it be. It mostly went away and came back a month or two later but this time was a bit sore. I noticed it looked more like a spot. Squeezed, seemed to clear it out and it went down.

I don't know if this is related but now it's come back and also it feels like maybe the lymph nodes in my groin on one side are/is swollen and feels bruised though it's definitely not. It feels like one baby carrot sized lump along the top of the hair line and a slightly smaller one to the left closer to my thigh. This has literally happened in the last day and a half and the area is sore.

Has anyone known of anything like this?

Is there any chance you could have an STI?

Otherwise, maybe it's just a boil from infection from shaving.

Im married though I suppose there's always a chance but I don't think so and I would very much hope not.

Maybe the one round lump is a boil, it's the bruised feeling away from that and the other two odd shaped lumps another swelling that are the most concerning - if the two things aren't related that is. Hopefully the gp will come back quickly, it's so frustrating not being able to just make appointments anymore

It does sound like a reaction to shaving.
