Breast Dimple = cyst?

I had a mammogram in June because of a lump and slight dimple in my right breast. Consultant said it was fine. Just a cyst.

It's got much deeper and darker though (see pictures). Do any of you recognise this symptom? Is it still just a cyst or do I need to get it looked at again? It's painful and tender to touch. It sits right on my underboob so wearing bras is uncomfortable.

I know folk will say get it looked at. I get that. I probably will anyway. I suppose what I'm really asking is if I need to panic? I've got covid just now so won't be able to see a doc before the end of next week.

Hello I have so many cysts always back and forth to the clinic. When they did the mammogram did they also do a ultrasound?

Absolutely what I'm going to say Smile

And as its getting worse and painful, get it properly assessed for anything malign as a matter of urgency.

Likewise, if it is just a cost, get it seen promptly to prevent it turning really nasty.

*cyst

I had a similar dimple and mine was a cyst. I had mammogram and ultrasound. They were very clear to go back if still worried though.

I had lots of cysts in the years before my menopause. Ones that were quite big or uncomfortable were always drained and the tiny ones left alone.
I would definitely go back and see the gp and/or the consultant.
I have always had dense lumpy breasts and the ultrasound and mammogram together are the gold standard.

Yes, get it checked again but it is most likely a cyst if it is mobile and tender. I'd ask for removal simply because its on the bra line and painful

Did they eventually settle ? I have so many it's constant at the moment
