Hi, I don't know if this is the right place and I apologise for the long post. When I was about 6 or 7 months pregnant I was getting a lot of pain where my ribs meet together in the center of my chest, tried telling the midwife and she kept saying its where everything is getting shoved up so I left it. A few days after birth and I had the pain back and quite bad, ribs felt bruised and had pain in my chest and sternum. Went to the docs and was told its heartburn ( nothing like heartburn) second doc 2 weeks later gave me some strong pain killer type tablets which didn't do anything, I've left it awhile then decided to go back again because I keep getting breathless over doing silly things. I had a ECG which lasted all of 30 seconds yesterday and then had to see the doctor today who said to just have Paracetamol and ibuprofen ( already tryed saying it doesn't work) she listened to my chest and said it sounds clear so she won't send me for an xray and then going on to say it's basically in my head because I've had the pain for more than a few months ( In total I've had the pain for about a year and half/2 years)
Sorry for the long post, just needed to vent I think, I'm so annoyed by it.
