Which IUD for Endometriosis?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the IUD for endometriosis. I've been advised by my gynaecologist to consider this as an option whilst I wait for surgery. Because it may help my symptoms, but also because my endometriosis is getting worse rapidly and might stop or slow the growth. Has anyone had any luck with the Mirena or any other IUD? Thank you 😊

I think Mirena is the one they usually suggest. I did ok with it but then started getting painful cysts but that could have been coincidence
