I've just had an appointment to get the copper coil fitted and it's failed. I was told it might when they booked me in, due to prolapse (within vagina and apparently not too bad).
But the doctor said the prolapse isn't the issue, and she could see my cervix, it was just too tight/not open. She could only get it in 2cm and needs to be 7cm. She attempted a few times. I've been referred to the hospital.
None of that really seems to be a problem, and wouldn't ordinary worry me. But she kept asking if my smears had always been normal, had I had any procedures on my cervix (I can't think what her exact wording was) and was my last birth normal (first was c section, but second was vaginal).
I might be worrying about nothing. But she seemed annoyed with herself that she couldn't do it, and also a little concerned at times.
I'm not really sure what I'm asking. But is there anything I should worry about or be asking?
