Has anyone ever had bleeding after period.. so continual bleeding wether it be light or heavy and stomach cramps and been told it could be cervical cancer but it wasn't once tested and if so what was it?

I had a few months where I would bleed at various points between periods and I started to worry about what it could be as there was no pattern to it. I also had slight cramping too but it was always spotting, not as heavy as a proper period. I contacted my GP and was brought in straight away to have it checked out. She examined my cervix and said it all looked healthy but took some swabs for infection just in case. She tested for Chlamydia and gonorrea as a precaution and it all came back clear. She put it down to my contraceptive pill, even though I'd been on it for 4 years and it was a new development. I think she must have been right as the issue resolved itself when I came off it.

So I'd get a full sexual health screening, some STIs like Chlamydia have no symptoms but bleeding between periods is one of them. Consider if hormonal contraception could be a cause? But ultimately go back to your GP if you are worried!!
