I had quite a traumatic birth 3 years ago, big PPH, transfusions and episiotomy/ventouse. Recently, it seems to have started catching during sex and bleeding. Nothing dramatic, more like a graze, with blood spots when I wipe. It also stings like a mother when I wee. It heals after a week or so, but is now reliably happening every time we have sex…even after leaving a good long break, to give it chance to properly heal.
Could it be the scar re-opening?? I can see a small cut by the top of my epi scar, maybe the size of a grain of rice. I also wondered if it could be the skin there getting less elastic/drier (I’m “only” 38 though…)
I’m going to try and see the doctor but appointments are obviously hard to come by and I wondered if anyone had similar experiences.
