Persistent HPV help needed!

Hello,
I'm 47. Been on yearly smears now for 5 years due to being HPV positive. No abnormal cells, I had a colposcopy 2 years ago and nothing abnormal detected, biopsies were normal.

Just had my most recent smear results back and yet again showed HPV+ (no abnormal cells) so I'm on a 12 month recall.

Delighted that nothing sinister detected plus I feel quite safe to be on yearly smears, but, why can't I get rid of this dratted HPV? The colp nurse said it could bd with my age, immune system not as good as when I was younger etc.

Does anyone have any advice? I'm a bit worried as long term HPV is linked to other cancers as well as CC. Been married for 20+ years, both faithful etc.

I've been taking

Active Hexose Correlated Compound

But whether it works or not I'm yet to know

But it's the only thing I found rumoured to help with it
