Help! I’m on so many pills for things I’m now in a complete mess

Hello
I don’t know what to do any more and just asking for advice really.
I am on cerazette pill which has stopped my heavy periods. I am also on sertraline anti depressants and have been for years and years to help with anxiety. Recently I started experiencing peri menopause symptoms and due to Covid I found it impossible to discuss with my nhs gp over the phone. I arranged to see a private gp who suddenly diagnosed me over the phone with endometriosis as well as perimenopause. He prescribed livial hrt and started me on prostrap injections to see if it relieved all the symptoms such as joint pain, stomach cramps etc. Since starting them i literally feel like I have been poisoned. I am in so much pain with joints, insomnia and my emotions are all over the place. He is now suggesting I have a hysterectomy.

I have always had heavy periods and anxiety. I have always put on weight very easily. I have had a laparoscopy
In the past to look for endo but none found

I now feel like I am on a giant cocktail of hormonal drugs. They all cause weight gain and all seem to be prescribed to help something that they aren’t helping!!

I don’t know where to begin and certainly do not want to jump ahead with a hysterectomy just from a phone consultation.

I’m tempted to (gradually) just come off the whole bloody lot of medication and start again! My main priority is reducing all these hormones flooding round my body and then lose weight.

What would you do?

Have you seen a gynaecologist or just a GP?

How old are you? The Prostap puts you in a chemical menopause, and should only be prescribed by a specialist. What peri symptoms are you experiencing?

I’m 43. It’s is a specialist gynaecologist I’ve been prescribed prostrap from but this is just from me saying my symptoms over the phone
