Pill for PMT?

Has anyone gone on the pill to help with PMT? Did it work?

I feel like I am affected by my hormones most of the time and I need to do something about it. I have such such short temper when I am due on.

I was on the pill for years before having children (they are now 5 and 3). I had a bad reaction to 2 and then started taking Yasmin and was fine. I am now 38 years old.

I have tried supplements, herbal remedies, diet, exercise, yoga, meditation. Some things ease it slightly but nothing really works so hoping the pill will help!

Hi, I’m 35 and the same, I also get bad anxiety and have tried much of what u have said. I am now trying a pill which is also used as a hrt. It’s called Qlaira. Still waiting to see if it makes a difference but there is quite a bit of info on this pill helping with pmt. might be worth a look

So glad I seen this! I am on the Mirena coil for 2 weeks I have had sore boobs. Today must be the day my period is due and I feel sick with anxiety.
Mind I am suffering from a break up too, so not sure if it's that, but the cramps are also horrendous today too.
I have tried primrose and star oil. The doctor started me on sertraline as since I have had the coil in I feel horrendous for 2 weeks of the month!
Thought I was going through the change till I had the blood tests done ❤️🤣

How long have you been on sertraline? Has it worked for you?
