C section scar ectopic pregnancy

So just been for an early scan and they said the baby has implanted right by the scar and they can’t tell if it’s right by it or a c section scar ectopic. It’s a very rare ectopic and I’m wondering has anyone had it? they doing another scan next week.

Yes I have. 2017, first pregnancy after having my son 15 months before. It is very rare and my consultant included me in a case study that he did about it. I'm afraid it didn't end well for us, and despite it looking like things might have started growing out of the scar niche, the baby no longer had a heartbeat at a scan when I was 10 weeks. A lot of the staff at the hospital where I was diagnosed had never seen one before in their whole careers.
