Missed period after covid vaccine?

Hello!
I hope this isn't tmi! I had my covid vaccine a few weeks back now. The day after I experienced slight spotting for 2-3 days, which is very unusual for me. Closer to my due on date I have another spout of spotting for one day. I am now 5 days late which again is very unusual for me, I've never missed periods unless pregnant! I'm defiantly not pregnant! Wondering if anyone has had the same and whether/when should I go to the doctors!

It's a very common side effect going by the threads on Mumsnet.

This happened to me, it seems very common. Not worth a dr's visit, I'm sure they couldn't give a monkeys beyond telling you "wait and see"

Make sure you report it through the Yellow Card system. Anecdotal information is no good for research - they need facts and figures. coronavirus-yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk/
There is also a study going on. I'll try and find a link

Link to the Imperial College study into changes in periods / menstrual cycle following the COVID-19 vaccine.
