Has anyone had polyps removed via a hysteroscopy?

How were your periods after the procedure?
I have had uterine polyps for around 6 years +.
I have had them removed via hysteroscopy twice before (snipped away via some kind of instrument!) but sadly the polyps grew back and cause the very heavy bleeding and flooding which I have suffered from for years.
10 days ago I had another hysteroscopy and this time they used a Myosure machine to shave the polyps away (I was able to watch it all on the screen)
My period started 2 days ago. The gynaecologist said the procedure would lessen my periods but it is virtually no existent. It’s the lightest it’s been since I started my periods 35 years ago!!
Usually, by day 2 or 3 I would be flooding and passing huge clots.
Obviously this is great but I am on edge and keep fretting that I am going to stand up then suddenly flood.
I am wondering (and hoping amongst all hope 🤞) that it will be like this every month?
