Post surgery repair -stitches loose?

I had a hysterectomy with anterior and posterior repair about ten days ago. I feel well in myself and have been pretty sensible although I have been on my feet quite a lot.
I've noticed an increase in discharge and a slight soreness down there in the last couple of days. I had a look earlier and I can see about an inch of stitching thread poking out. Does this mean some of my stitches have come loose? Will they be able to re-stitch it?
I am trying to phone the unit but no luck getting through so far. I'm really worried as I want this to work so much and I've waited such a long time.

Should add it was all done vaginally. It's but easy for me to get a look at.

I had anterior and posterior repair done last year, I had a look at it as soon as I came home from hospital and kept an eye on it so I knew if there were any changes or anything. I could also see a few stitches just inside the opening. I think the stitches started coming out after around 10 to 14 days which the nurse told me was completely normal. Are you sure the stitches you can see have fell out? Have you found any stitches in your knockers or on the loo roll after wiping? Also the discharge is normal, it's due to everything healing. I was worried about it too as it was more of a brown colour but apparently that's all a good sign Flowers

Knickers not knockers hahaha

MrsTesfaye thanks for the reply. Your typo made me laugh 😂
I ended up going to the GP yesterday as I felt things weren't quite right. I have an infection in the wound and have been given a strong course of antibiotics. Apparently one of the stitches has pinged loose. They are going to assess next week when it's all calmed down and will see if they need to trim it.
Can I ask how long it took before you were back to "normal" with life? I am generally a very physically actually person but I don't feel like I could walk for long yet.

Ah no sorry to hear that bless you! I honestly felt back to normal after 3 or 4 weeks but I assume it may take longer if you have an infection? Hope you make a full recovery and feel better soon, I too am a very active person and I walk between 5 and 10 miles a day so I know how much of a killer the having to rest is!
