I am having a particularly bad flare of LS and also suffer from atrophy. I have a steroid cream for LS and Vagifem tablets for atrophy which have not really worked at least partly because I wasn't given correct instructions.
I posted in AIBU as fed up of the lack of care for anything really and the expense of purchasing a bath additives and internal/ external moisturiser. The moisturisers were all recommended by GP but they will not prescribe due to local restrictions.
Anyway the appt was IMO a car crash asI was asked if I had applied cream. Well yes but the white stuff is the skin condition not the cream.
I left being told to carry on with steroid cream but as the skin is broken I am now concerned about infection. .a referral to gynaecology will be done but not holding my breath
So the point of this rant really is to seek advice from sufferers please.
