Spotting and erratic periods

I’m so fed up with this. If anyone has advice/ reassurance I would love to hear it.

Earlier this year my period came back at 9 months pp. Regular but really heavy and light spotting on random days during the month. I had a clear smear in feb and clear internal ultrasound in May.

Fell pregnant in June and spotting stopped. Miscarried in late July. Since then two heavy periods (second one started on day 18) and spotting is back.

Should I be worried? Should I ask GP for more tests (they weren’t worried after u/s and suggested another smear). What could cause this?!

Have you had a covid jab? Maybe take up their offer of a smear?

@Wole thanks, yes I can’t remember the exact timing of the first jab/ this starting but it could be linked. Second jab at the start of May.
I could have another smear...but when I reminded them I’d had one in Feb they said it was up to me but they wouldn’t expect to see anything.

I am sorry about your miscarriage

My periods went funny after both my jabs and I had missed ones and spotting for a couple of cycles then it settled back down.

That and stress makes mine go funny.
