Breast changes during pregnancy

I’m almost 22 weeks pregnant and have noticed the hair follicles/pores on both of my breast (particularly the right side) look slightly enlarged and on the inner left side of my cleavage the skin feels a little thicker than usual. I’m naturally big breasted and have been wearing an ill fitting (not very supportive) sports bra day and night which I don’t think has helped, I’m obviously going to see a doctor but was wondering if anyone had any similar experiences.

I’ve had this same issue. I noticed it around the same time in my pregnancy and I’ve been to 3 different places for it. My first appointment was with a breast specialist I’ve seen in the past who had no worry whatsoever. She said it was normal with how large my breasts are and the fact that they are quickly growing. I was even scheduled for an ultrasound, and she didn’t feel the need to perform it. My second appointment was to get an ultrasound on both breasts, since I noticed these changes in both breasts. The nurse I see for the baby recommended it before I saw the breast specialist so I just decided to keep the appointment. At this appointment, the radiologist said my skin was thickened in the area where I noticed the changes, so they sent the images and results to a different breast specialist that I hadn’t seen before, and they made the decision to send me for a punch biopsy on both breasts. Needless to say, my heart dropped. I was also scheduled for a breast MRI on top of all of this. The biopsy was scheduled for last week at the Cancer center. They told me not to worry because that’s just where they perform the procedures, but it’s kind of hard not to worry. I went for the procedure, and the lady who did the procedure was extremely nice and helpful. She took a look at me and thought everything looked normal, like the first specialist had indicated, but of course said that the biopsy would be the top of the top tests to receive a definitive answer. I was there longer than expected because she was questioning why I was going for an MRI after the biopsy. She really looked into everything for me and ended up canceling the MRI and just doing the biopsy. It didn’t hurt a bit and she was extremely cautious and caring towards the fact that I’m an expecting mom (she also just had a baby). Over 24 hours later I developed a rash on both breasts that was extremely itchy. I called the place that did the biopsy and they got me right in. They think it was a reaction to the stuff they used to prep/clean both breasts prior to the procedure and prescribed me with an ointment to apply, which hasn’t really helped. She doesn’t think it was related to the skin thickening. It’s been a long few weeks. I first noticed my changes on Halloween night, so I’m going on a month and a half dealing with the stress of this. I have horrible anxiety and always think the worst, despite being told otherwise by professionals. I think it’s just the fact that this biopsy is the telltale of it all? I should receive the results this week, so fingers crossed. I hope all turned out well for you!
