Long string of mucus in urine -warning for TMI pictures

I’ve had a UTI all day and have spent the last couple of hours in the bath, drinking lots of water and letting the warm water do it’s thing. I was peeing in the bath 🤷🏻‍♀️ gross but sweet relief when I have a UTI. I looked down as I was peeing and a long sting of mucus came out, definitely from my urethra, I’m horrified - should I be? Has anyone had this?

Oh that's rank poor you its just sediment I think to do with your uti drink cranberry juice and put in another sample at the Drs

Some are more mucusy that others anyway - esp if infection or around ovulation time. I'd carry on doing what you're doing and if it seems to be taking some time to clear, ring gp

No , it’s the same as the lady , I went in the bath , and out came the strings, I’ve also a uti, still suffering from the problem, but the doctors aren’t sure what it can be .
