Do white tonsils always mean tonsillitis?

I was on a high dosage of antibiotics for tonsillitis about ten days ago. I finished the course about 2 days ago and low and behold my tonsils are large and white again. Not sure what to do. I've been on a lot of antibiotics recently for various things and I'm really reluctant to request more because it's causing me issues and pain with breast feeding, but worried about having full blown tonsillitis again.
Does anyone have any experience and no the answer to whether tonsillitis goes away in its own/do white tonsils always mean tonsillitis?
Thank you :)
I also had a really bad bout of tonsillitis about 2 months ago :(

This is gross but I used to get bits of food stuck in my tonsils and you could see white bits and I’d try to poke it out and they’d swell up. It would give me earache and lots of sore throat’s so I ended up having them out.

I’d go back to the gp

You could have tonsil stones. You can push them out with a cotton bud if you're brave. They stink so try not to touch them.
