Cyst rupture

I’ll try to be brief ☺️
PCOS sufferer.
Cycles all over the place ranging from 72 days to day, 30. Sometimes they can be fairly long and heavy, other days I’ll lightly bleed for maybe 48 hours then it’ll disappear.

I usually always get painful, full boobs and lower back ache before I come on.

I was due around Tuesday but as I’m irregular I didn’t think much of not bleeding but I’d started to get low back ache.

By Tuesday evening I thought I’d pulled my back out as I had quite a painful deep pain on the lower right hand side of my back. As the evening progressed it got so bad I could hardly move.
During the night I was in agony, awake from about 1pm and the only way I could sleep was if I drugged myself up to the max just to take the edge off.

Following day it was horrendous. I couldn’t bend or twist and often it felt like my back was spasming. Pain still predominantly in the same place.

This morning however I woke up and felt much better. By midday it’s hardly noticeable and that was right when I started bleeding. I still have a little pain in that specific spot but nothing like yesterday and now it’s mainly just low back across as I’d expect from a period.

My question is, has anyone else experienced this and if so, what was it? Was it a small rupture or something else?
Thanks x

It sounds like you ould have possibly had a ruptured cyst. I get cysts quite often and have them checked every 6 months and the first one that ever ruptured is went to a&e as i thought it was appendix and they said it was a ruptured cyst and nothing was done just given painkillers. Since then I've had a few like you describe so bad that I was ready to go to a&e again but the next day it subsided. It's happened the day before my scans to check on the cysts and when I mention it they do say looks like a ruptured cyst. I use a hot water bottle on mine but if they are too bad you should go to the hospital because I know they can be quite nasty.

@Miracle29 Hi, thank you so much. I feel it probably is a rupture too but I just wanted to check my symptoms were a possibility. Long wait for A & E and not wanting to waste their time puts me off going if I’m honest. Thank you
