Does this sound like food poisoning or something else?

I know these are all classic signs of food poisoning, but I’ve been fortunate enough to not have ever experienced this before so I don’t know whether it would go on this long.
I started getting very sharp abdominal pains on Saturday that have continued on. I felt fine in myself and thought possibly period was early. However all of yesterday I had, TMI sorry, very loose stools and couldn’t stay off the toilet. Before I went to bed my entire body felt heavy, I started getting breaking out into a hot sweat yet I felt absolutely freezing. I woke in the night and felt so
nauseous so ran to the toilet. My ears began ringing and I nearly fainted. I am prone to fainting but it still scared me. Again in the night I kept having very loose stools.
I’ve woken up and now still feel so nauseous and light headed. I know covid can have symptoms of this too. Just very confused as basically eaten the same as my partner who is absolutely fine!

Sounds like food poisoning to me, is there anything you ate differently to your partner?

When I've had it (a few times before) it's always been really bad for one day then I've felt very tired and worn out with a funny stomach for 1-2 days afterwards.

Hopw you feel better soon :)

This is how covid began for me both times I have had it. It may not be, but it might be an idea to get a PCR.

It's how Covid presented in lots of people I know. I would get a test.

Just coincidentally found this in a Guardian article :

McGuire had had her second vaccine at the beginning of June, and initially mistook her Covid infection for a bout of food poisoning. “Test and trace then confirmed that vomiting is also a symptom of Covid, in addition to brain fog, a cough, headaches and feeling tired, which I also experienced. It wasn’t nice.”
