Gifts for a friend with breast cancer

An old friend is going through surgery and radiotherapy for breast cancer. She lives a long way away and I’d like to send her a little care package through the post. Does anyone have any ideas as to what would be nice to include? Nothing too expensive or over the top I just want it to be a little something that might lift her spirits at this incredibly difficult time. Thank you

I've not got personal experience but we have a colleague who has Breast Cancer and a colleague who has been through it.

One suggestion she made was to send some nice body lotion as the treatment can make your skin dry apparently.

You could send some nice small things to cheer her up:
Hand cream
Lip balm
Sweets
Body lotion (Aveeno is recommended)
Soft socks

I'm going through breast cancer treatment and all of the above would be lovely

Chocolates, herbal teas, books, magazines

Some sleep aids because going through this and the stress that goes with it can affect sleep. So maybe some lavender bath foam and pillow spray :)
