Any fellow PCOS women here? (Might be TMI!)

It’s very likely I have PCOS. I have facial and body hair on my chest and stomach, I think my last period was around 20 months ago and before that, I’d have maybe two periods a year. I’m also type 2 diabetic and am a classic apple shape with a big stomach.

I’ve been waiting for an ultrasound to confirm, but obviously COVID has put a hold on it.

This week, for the first time ever, I’ve had daily brown discharge, not very much but there every day. I also had one day when I wiped after a wee and it was very very lightly red with blood.

On the rare times I do have a period, they tend to be ‘normal’, not that heavy or painful, with consistent bleeding for around 5-6 days.

I’ve not experienced anything like this before. Any idea what it could be?

I’m definitely not pregnant.

Hi, I have PCOS too. It simply seems like spotting/irregular bleeding which is a common symptom of PCOS.

I used to have a completely normal cycle until one random month instead of a normal period there was spotting and that happened every month which is when I was diagnosed (scan confirmed it).

It seems to me that this is normal spotting. Are you on the pill? If you would miss a dose it could be caused by that..
