Benenden health care....is it worth it?

Has anyone any experience of this?
I have health anxiety and recently waited 7 months for a gynaecological nhs appointment after my gp referred me to get a scan. The waiting time was awful. I would love private healthcare but cant afford it. Benenden seems like a half way Option.
Has anyone any advice or experience if this?
Thanks

Yes, we have it. It doesn't cover everything but is good if you need to see a specialist or have treatment where there is a long NHS waiting list.

We've used it several times, including for gynae issues when it paid for a minor procedure.

You have to go to their hospital if you need inpatient treatment.

(I probably have a referral code if you want to dm me).

I have it through work, you can access counselling too for your anxiety, it’s a good affordable scheme imho

Yes I’d say it’s worth having. I used them last year to access counselling services and also used the 24 hour GP.

Does anyone have experience of using Benenden to get a hysterectomy or a myectomy? I have fibroids, but haven’t been referred for an operation as yet.
