I have had the levosert IUD for about 2 ½ years. It took about 6 months to settle. Since then I have had maybe 4 periods randomly. Short but very painful. I've done a few pregnancy tests as I am basically phobic of getting pregnant. (Long story, had sepsis while in labour. Nearly killed me. Nearly lost my son. He was high risk meningitis. Diagnosed with PTSD few months after birth. All just a mess). My husband is 'getting a vasectomy' but this appointment seems to be impossible to set up with the gp. They never seem to be able to get anything booked as he is not ill. Covid has stopped non essential apps here and continues to do so.
Anyway I have felt very uncomfortable for a few days. Cramps, back ache, emotional. This morning I went to the loo and (tmi sorry) I had this huge flow of bright red fresh blood. It's almost stopped now but I have really bad cramp.
I'm worried my coil has moved. Or worse I'm pregnant. I'm about to walk into work for a 12 shift so no chance of checking until tonight and I know I'm going to be shitting it all day.
Has anyone had their coil move? We're very much still active in the bedroom and so I'm wondering if it's dislodged.
