Ovulation leg pain

Around the time I am ovulating, I get a serious pain down my left leg and occasional pins and needles in my left foot. It lasts a few days each month. It sounds like a random coincidence but since I noticed the timing I've monitored it for quite a few months and the timing is always right on. Does anyone know why this it, what the reason/cause is? It's really quite painful and my Dr is a bit useless with it.

Whisk you say it's along your sciatic nerve? For the first time last month I had this and made note of the dates. It lasted 2 weeks then a few days ago felt it again but only lasted a couple days. I've compared to my Flo app and the dates coincide with ovulation, but as it's only been twice I clearly need to keep an eye on it and see if there's a pattern.

It is like a sciatic pain but I always thought sciatic came from the spine? Could ovulation trigger that somehow? I don't know how the nerves work. It's really frustrating me! Keep an eye on yours and see if it's the same.
