Long light period - covid jab related? Something else ?

I have had a period which started on 24th July ( it was very light spotting) it then went into a heavier flow and bow still spotting (maybe a few times a day) I'm very worried about this
Is there something wrong?

I always have regular period although 2 months ago it was a week late (I'm not sure if this was related to my 1st covid vaccine)
I am desperate to try for my 2nd child now I'm convinced there is something wrong with me.

Is Is possible it's related to the covid jab? I've read a few posts about the jab interfering with periods

I missed my period completely after the first jab and it was a week late after the second I've never had a missed or late period before so I'm pretty sure it's related to the jab!

I am having the exact same issue after my first Pfizer jab - although I did stop blended for 3 days for it to then start spotting, mainly brown discharge but sometimes pink. This has gone on for a week - so it’s like I’ve been on for two weeks now.

I'm having a similar situation.... I had my second covid jab on the 6th of July.... I had a a normal period from 20th July slight spotting and then into heavier bleeding from 23rd ..ending on the 26th. I am now due on again tomorrow but for the last few days i have experienced light spotting once or twice a day...no cramping no feeling of period coming. From ovulation this month I will add I had period symptoms all the way though from ovulation for about 10days ( back ache belly ache bloating ) which has all now calmed down. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this light spotting instead of a period? Or if your period turned up after it? Xx

I had my 2nd vaccine on the 12th July, two days before ovulation. Was due period on the 3rd august but was bloated the whole week, expecting it to come.

Past 3 days I’ve had sharp stomach cramps and today I’ve started bleeding lightly. Really bad timing as we’re on a staycation and now awaiting the inevitable heavy bleed and pain. Im usually a few days early so definitely delayed ovulation due to vaccine. I had the Astra Zeneca.

H1978... thats really interesting... your story is probably the closest to mine I have read. I experienced the bloating and cramping around ovulation thought not when my period was supose to be due. I am due my period tomorrow or Wednesday but I am not hopfull... also feel very full off air if u get me? Spotting last 2day also. This isn't fun is it?!?! Hope your period doesn't ruin your break!! Xx

It’s been awful. The week I was bloated was my niece’s wedding and I wouldn’t appear in any of the photos because I looked like I was pregnant 😳 it really affected my self confidence.

My first jab was just after my ovulation dates so was on my normal cycle time. Originally my second jab was for 2nd august but I had it earlier because I was quite ill after the first and didn’t want to miss the wedding that week.

Thank you. I hope it isn’t too bad but the cramps have already started in vengeance and I’m dreading ruining the white hotel bed covers 😬

I seem to be having almost constant spotting brown bleeding throughout my cycle . I basically have 10 period/bleeding free days then the spotting starts then a proper period and then fades out to spotting again .

It’s so frustrating because I seem to be constantly bleeding and I don’t know if it’s something to be worried about or just an after effect of the vaccine .

I have reported it via the yellow card system but I had my second jab in April and so it seems a long time for this still to be happening?
