Hello, I'm hoping someone has some insight into why my boobs are so bloody sore!

I am going through investigations for PCOS as I haven't had a period for 2 years and they were always irregular before that. I recently had an ultrasound which showed my ovaries had lots of little follicles over them which the doctor on call said could be PCOS. Although I had my hormones checked a few days after that scan and my hormone results were normal. I'm waiting on an appointment with a gynaecology consultant. I've been waiting since last October so I'm hoping I won't have much longer to wait.

When I did have periods, my boobs would be really sore before and during so I thought I might have one coming but it's been about a week and a half since and no sign of a period. I've done a few pregnancy tests just in case and all have come back negative.

I'm overweight and have started losing weight as I want to start TTC in a few years and am sure I will have problems so don't want my weight to be a barrier to fertility treatment. In the last month and a half I've lost a stone and a half. Could my weight loss have something to do with it? I did read that losing even 5% of your body weight can kickstart your cycle and I've lost just under 10% so could it just be my hormone levels fluctuating due to the weight loss?

It's soo painful, even accidentally brushing them with my arm by accident hurts!
