Hi I wondered if anyone could help! For the past few months I’ve had pain where my c section scar is after sex mainly. It hurts when I press my stomach where my scar is. Sometimes it lasts a week or more. It’s not severe but enough to bother me. The funny thing is it doesn’t hurt at all during sex, it’s not uncomfortable or anything. It’s the day after sex that it starts. I don’t know if it’s my cervix or something else. Can sex irritate a c section scar? My scar is over 4 years old now too and it’s only a recent problem. I had a scan in may that picked nothing up but it was transvaginal and I had the same pain after that too that lasted a week. She had to really press on to find my ovaries so I put it down to that. I have my smear booked in soon but now they only test for hpv I’m a little worried it won’t pick anything else up. I’m wondering if it could also be bladder related as I know the bladder is in that area and sex can cause bladder issues sometimes? I’m just really worried. The pain goes off during my period completely but once I have sex it’s back again! Any advice would be appreciated!
